Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners, and they shall fall among the slain.” For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
There are many verses in the Bible that speak of God’s people, us, turning away from God. Turning to things of this world. Worshiping idols and so many different things of this world, instead of the One we should worship. God. We, as a people, find so many other things in this world more important than God, even today. We continue to do the same thing God’s people did back in biblical times. We turn from God.
The thing most people miss is with each turn away from God, His hand is still outstretched hoping we turn back to Him. No matter what we do, God still loves us, He still wants us to repent, turn from sin, and turn towards Him. God still has hope that with our free will, we will turn back to Him. What a wonderful God we have!
God has His hand outstretched to us, hoping we will reach out and take His hand and turn back to Him. Do you see His hand? Do you understand the power behind that hand? Will you reach towards His outstretched hand?
