Our church has had the privilege to serve on several mission trips. We have had groups go twice to Honduras, once to Puerto Rico after the Hurricane went through, and twice to Pathways to Health in Texas and Indianapolis. Our members love to do local community projects as well as going anywhere we are able to share God's love with others.
We are currently working on organizing a mission to Mexico to help one of our church members families to build a church for their brother who lives in Mexico. They do not have a building to worship in. They faithfully worship every Sabbath no matter the weather and it can be so challenging. Imagine having to stand out in the sweltering heat, on rainy days, or any number of ways weather can impact. The faithful followers even worship late into the night using the lights from their phones to see their Bibles. We are working to raise funds for supplies and planning for some of our church members to travel down at some point to provide labor. Let's build them a church! If you would like to help fund supplies for the building of this church, please contact us.
Following are pictures from our mission trips thus far.
Pathway to Health was in Indianapolis this year, 2022. It was postponed due to Covid from 2020. Pathway to Health sets up one clinic per year, usually, in a different city each time. All services provided are free for homeless, low income, and anyone in need. Services provided are medical, dental, spiritual, personal, and pretty much anything needed. If you would like to know more, you can visit their site here. We had several members that went to volunteer along with friends. The volunteers made many new friends and received such a blessing from volunteering! There was a variety of jobs available to help with. There was also a wonderful Sabbath service provided and Pastor Mark Finley was there! This is such a blessing to the individuals served as well as those serving. Check out all the pictures below.
