not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,
We should not be doing things to please men, but doing the will of God. We should all devote ourselves to doing good, not for our own glory but for the glory of our Heavenly Father. Everything we do should be done as if we are doing it for the Lord and not for the world or ourselves.
Everything in this world is temporary; houses, jobs, parties, games, events, and money. They are all temporary and will not last. We should do those things that please the Lord as one day, one day soon, Jesus will return. All these things will be washed away and everything will be made new. His kingdom will reign and will be more glorious than anything we know of this world.
Make sure when Jesus returns you are ready. Study His word, follow His direction, let Him light your path. Doing service for the Lord will show your love for Him. When you accept His gift of grace, of salvation, your actions should show that you have welcomed Him into your heart.
