There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
I am amazed by God. He knew everything that would happen and planned for salvation for us all.
Why did He let sin enter the world? Why didn’t He just stop it with a word? Because if He did then all would fear Him. He wants our love, not our fear. He wants our obedience to be brought out of love, not fear.
God gave us free will so we could all choose. Everything God has done has been out of love for each of us. All He wants is our love in return.
He doesn’t want us to be afraid of Him. He is a God of love. His whole plan of salvation speaks volumes about His love for us.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17 NKJV
Praise God for being a God of love!
