I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope.
Do you have hope? What do you hope for? A new car, a new job, no more Covid-19, peace, love, kindness? So many things we hope for, each and every day. What do you put your hope in? What do you rely on? Do you rely on your own understanding and power to get things done? Or do you put your hope where it should be, in God?
I hope every day to be a better person than I was the day before. I hope each day to keep my focus on God and to listen when He speaks to me. When there is something I need, I know I need to trust He will provide. Then I need to hope I hear Him when he tells me “do this” or “go there” as he has my need met if I just listen. I hope for so much but I mostly hope I am doing what God wants me to do.
I know I am frequently reminded to keep my hope in God. His promises are sure. God always takes care of us. As long as we ask, trust, and understand that his answer may be different than ours, He will take care of us. There are so many things I hope for every day. There is only one thing I truly hope for and I have assurance that it will happen, sooner than any of us think. I hope to be with the Lord one day, for eternity. I have the assurance of this from His word.
Keep hoping and praying. God is there and His promises are very true. All the good things you hope for will come to pass, in His time and in His way. Put all your hope in His word. God is great all the time! The promises He has for us are so, so great!
