Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
I would like to share a short testimony about what God has done in my life. I use to have great anxiety and used drugs to control it. One day they found me on the floor of my apartment. I had been there for 36 hours. I nearly lost my life. I was a bitter, not very nice person.
When I was recovering I had a dear friend that would call and sing John 14:27 to me. It says "peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". Jesus has changed my life. He gives me a "perfect peace". He has changed my heart of stone into one of flesh. He has enabled me to stay clean for the last 11 years. If He can change a heart like mine, He can do the same for you.
Remember Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," but there is healing and peace in having a relationship with Jesus.
